The Engine Room Church and Community Centre
The Engine Room was opened in 2017 and is both a church and community centre serving Hale Village and the wider Tottenham and Haringey area. Based on Lebus Street in Hale Village, we are open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm and are available to hire for family events, parties and also for business or organisational training courses or meetings (see below). We also held seven community events annually including our; Christmas Fayre (early December), Pancake Party, Easter Festival, Tottenham 10k run and the Spurs Walk (June each year), Summer Festival (July each year) and our Pumpkin Party 31st October.
Our regular weekly activities include;
Sunday 11.00am Worship – Church of England – St Francis at The Engine Room
All are welcome, our church is very informal and we always have activities for children. Most Sundays we hold Eucharist (Holy Communion) but participation is voluntary. We have special services at Christmas and Easter and hold a shared lunch once a month to which all are welcome.

Tuesdays 10.00am to 11.30am Messy Play – drop in for parents and carers and their young children (under 3) – community activity run by The Engine Room

ACCELERATE – 4.30pm Homework club for Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 – community activity run by The Engine Room
Thursdays 10.00am to 11.30am Messy Play – drop in for parents and carers and their young children (under 3) – community activity run by The Engine Room

7.00pm COMPACT Youth Programme for 14-18 year olds – community activity run by The Engine Room

1.00pm Muslim Prayers by the Assunnah Islamic Centre
